# YouTube packaging

Start from the actual video, approved claims, audience, runtime, and transcript. Suggest titles and thumbnail concepts that accurately express the viewing promise. Do not invent a demonstration, result, statistic, or testimonial absent from the footage.

Use timestamped source material to identify meaningful topic changes. Manual YouTube chapters start at 00:00, contain at least three ascending timestamps, and each chapter lasts at least ten seconds, including the final chapter. Validate against runtime. If the source lacks timing, propose an untimed outline and identify the missing input; never fabricate precise chapter times. Feature availability can affect whether valid chapters appear.

Write a useful description with the video's subject and value near the beginning, followed by relevant context, verified links, and chapters. Correct captions against the audio or supplied transcript; do not claim audio verification without listening. Treat tags as secondary, useful especially for common misspellings.

For website embeds, use current Google video guidance. A dedicated watch page, discoverable video, stable thumbnail, and accurate metadata matter. Add VideoObject only from known facts and verify its current required properties; markup does not guarantee indexing or a rich result. Never invent an upload date, thumbnail URL, or direct video URL.

Use the channel's actual retention, impressions, CTR, traffic sources, and viewer feedback to evaluate packaging. Compare comparable videos and surfaces. Avoid universal CTR/retention targets, fixed ranking-factor weights, upload-frequency penalties, guaranteed AI citations, or promised ranking timelines.

Deliver the requested packaging draft and a short list of unresolved inputs. Publishing is a separate action requiring the user's requested scope.
