# UI/UX Pro Max: source-bound homepage specification

## Result

**PARTIAL**. A complete local specification and accessible static prototype were produced from retained homepage content. It is not a current rendered-site review because no browser or fresh URL inspection was used.

## Primary job and action

| Item | Local design decision | Source basis |
|---|---|---|
| Visitor job | Understand relevant cleaning service and ask for a quote | Existing services, phone, and quote CTA |
| Primary action | `Get a free estimate` scrolls to a clearly labelled local quote form | Existing `Get A Free Estimate` CTA |
| Secondary action | Direct phone call remains visible in header and hero | Existing `(941) 207-9556` |
| Decision support | Services and FAQ precede the quote form | Existing services and FAQ |

## System rules implemented in the local prototype

- Semantic tokens cover surface, text, border, brand accent, focus, spacing, radius, elevation, and motion.
- The desktop layout uses a two-column hero, three-column service grid, and two-column FAQ. At 760px and below, it becomes a single column and intentionally hides link-heavy navigation rather than squeezing an off-canvas panel.
- Every action has visible text. Phone uses a `tel:` link, quote is an in-page link, and the draft form has persistent labels.
- Focus states use an explicit blue outline. Meaning is never color-only.
- The local form does not submit, avoids inventing a CRM or booking workflow, and says so immediately below the button.
- Motion is opt-out with `prefers-reduced-motion`, does not block interaction, and contains only small reveal/hover feedback.

## States deliberately not claimed

| State | Why not claimed |
|---|---|
| Current desktop/mobile layout | Retained HTML is historical evidence, not a fresh visual inspection. |
| Current off-canvas navigation behavior | A historical mobile defect exists, but it was not re-tested. |
| Contrast ratio and keyboard flow in a browser | Source inspection cannot establish rendered behavior. |
| Form validation, booking, confirmation, or errors | No approved backend/CMS/form provider or real submission target was supplied. |
| Brand asset accuracy | No approved logo, photography, icon set, or visual brand brief was supplied. |

## Practical next validation

1. Open the local prototype in an approved browser and test it at 390px and desktop widths.
2. Compare it against a current permitted target capture, then resolve any source drift before implementing.
3. Obtain brand assets and the approved quote destination before production integration.
